Occupying three quarters of the first floor of this nearly 200 year-old house, this spacious apartment is ideal for family reunions, large parties or groups of friends, spread across 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen, separate dining room and dual aspect living room.
Its 4 large bedrooms are light and airy, all have their own wash basin, 3 bedrooms have got stunning views looking out across the valley, over the lake and towards the village & the 4th bedroom faces south looking towards Dolbadarn Castle. There are 3 double bedrooms and a large twin bedroom which also has a set of strudy, full-sized single bunk beds, allowing for up to 2 additional guests.
The large kitchen has recently been completely redesigned and refurbished to a very high standard, and is now more spacious with oodles of storage. There is also a dining table with seating for up to 4 people. A serving hatch from the kitchen through to the large dining room makes it a sinch to serve up plenty of food and all the trimmings for up to 10 diners.
Both bathrooms have also been completely redesigned and refurbished to a high standard, and the main bathroom now comprises of a large bath as well as a separate floor-level shower.
The large dual aspect living room has stunning views over the valley and across the lake, as well as looking out to Dolbadarn Castle towards the south.
There's Wi-Fi throughout the apartment, despite some of the walls being over 3-foot thick solid slate!
This apartment is so large that some guests have asked for a map! But, if there are fewer than 8 people, it can be rented out on a '3-bedroom configuration', reducing the size and therefore reducing the cost. So, even if there are only 5 or 6 people in your family or group, the Padarn apartment is still an option.
Access to the Padarn apartment is via our main reception area - which is the only indoors area occasionally used by other guests for check-in/check-out etc., but is also where we have lots of leaflets, brochures and tourist information on local activities and attractions.
